We grew up between two worlds — and there was never a brand that dressed that. Not the costume version. Not another logo. Something you'd wear every day that quietly says: I know who I am.
So we're building it. Slowly, one drop at a time, with the people it's for.
The easiest thing to wear, the hardest thing to fake
A hat sits at eye level and says one true thing about you, every day, without shouting. That felt right for a culture we usually had to explain or hide. You shouldn't have to do either.
And a hat can carry real craft: structured crowns, wool blends, embroidery with actual thread-count snobbery. If it wouldn't survive being passed down, it doesn't ship. That's the whole quality policy.
One artist per drop. Named. Paid.
Every drop is designed with one desi artist. Their name goes on the hat. Their cut comes off every sale — money, not exposure. If a design keeps selling, the artist keeps getting paid.
And any lettering from our languages gets proofed by native readers before a single stitch. Getting our own culture wrong is the one mistake we don't get to make.
You pick the drop
We don't guess what the community wants — we ask. Drop 001 goes to a vote. Founding members pick the first hat, hear first, and buy first.
That's the whole mechanic: you choose it, we build it with the artist, the run sells through, and we start the next story. One story per drop — a city, a word, a textile our grandmothers would recognize. When it's gone, it's gone.
